WroxhamWroxhamWroxham, famous for being one of the gateways to the Norfolk Broads?  No, it’s only the home of world-famous Roy’s, the world’s largest village store.  Well to be fair, it’s not really one store, it’s the whole of the town!

If you think that the boats look very familiar, it’s that they are identical to those for hire at Potter Heigham.  Parking can be a bit fierce in Wroxham but if you’re on your toes you can normally find a place. Wroxham Barns Wroxham BarnsTry sticking the car into the main Roy’s car park where you get a couple of hours free.  Then, if you don’t want a boat, you can browse the shops, which nearly all seem to be called “Roy’s”

On the way back to Bacton, stop at Wroxham Barns for a cup of tea, a glass of organic cider or the kiddies funfair.
